About Us

Trakya University Institute of Social Sciences was established on 03.10.1987 . Firstly 1987-1988 academic year, the Turkish Language and Literature Department at the Masters in 1990 and doctorate degree programs 1992-1993 academic year, Archeology and Art History Department in the 1993-1994 academic year, the History Department in 1994-1995 Education in Economics, Business , Finance, Government , Foreign Language Education Department in the 1995-1996 academic year in the Music Dept. , the 1997-1998 academic year at the International Relations Department of Educational Sciences Department of Educational Administration , Supervision, in the Department of planning and Economics graduate programs were opened.

Academic Year 2001-2002 in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction Master's Program , Department of Archaeology and Art History Faculty in accordance with the restructuring of the Department of Archaeology and Art History Department is divided into . Academic Year 2002-2003 Department of Primary , Elementary Teacher Education Master of Science Program and Department of Foreign Language Education , Department of Education German Language Graduate Program was launched. 2004-2005 Academic Year from the Secondary Social Studies Education Department ( History Teacher of Turkish Language and Literature ) and the Secondary School of Fine Arts Education Department ( Music Education ) Master's Degree Programs students have been taken .

Dept. of Music in 2004-2005 Academic Year Program and Operation Proficiency in Ekonomisiv Department of Industrial Relations Graduate Program has been approved the opening of the 2005-2006 academic year students have been taken from . Graduate Program in the Department of Econometrics has been approved the opening of the 2006-2007 Academic Year Spring Semester students have been taken .

Graduate Program in Business Administration has been approved the opening of the 2007-2008 Academic Year has started accepting students in the fall semester . Property in the Department ( Secondary Education) Graduate Program has been approved the opening of the 2008-2009 Academic Year has started accepting students in the fall semester . 2008-2009 Academic Year Study in the Fine Arts Department of Music Education in Science Master's Program has been approved the opening of the 2008-2009 Academic Year Spring Semester students are being received . The opening of the PhD Program in the Department of History has been approved , in 2008-2009 Academic Year Spring Semester began to accept students . The opening of the PhD Program in Business Administration is deemed appropriate.

Trakya University Institute of Social Sciences , walked up to date with the Graduate Education Programs 41 Ph.D., graduate degree has given 481 . Made at the Institute until 2005, master's and doctoral theses Thesis Abstracts are published as a book , is underway .
